Leading people to deliver performance that will create an organization achieve its objectives, requiring the correct attitude of a leader. In managing the performance of employees / staff, leaders must be insistent, persistent and consistent.
Is insistent, it means the leader must demand a minimum standard of performance. By demanding a minimum standard, the boundary between acceptable view that can not be accepted to be clear. If the leader is insistent, then the employees / staff will set their own behavior. The Standard is required must include business performance indicators, not only as the level of security or safety course.
Leaders must also be persistent. If leaders only demanded the fulfillment of standards when something goes wrong, or for any reason then they are a concern, then the employee will realize that there is actually no standard of performance. They will not adjust their behavior than their own beliefs about what is right and wrong. A collection of such employees will be hard to be managed, and the leader will usually complain about how the company culture to prevent the achievement of goals.
Leaders must provide appropriate targets, which will make employees give their best, and then provide feedback and coaching when the target is not reached or standards have been violated.
Leaders must also be consistent. Even that did not reach target are those who had had a good performance, the leader must still provide the same treatment. HOW manage EMPLOYEES / STAFF
According to Kevin Dwyer, founder of Change Factory – a change management consulting firm, to manage performance of employees / staff you need technique and attitude. The first technique is to establish “standards of performance”. This is the minimum standard where one should not not have to achieve it. No one employee / staff may not ever achieve this standard without having to follow the counseling. Standards of performance include such things as personal safety and team level (team & personal safety), honesty and level of attendance. Standards of performance should also include measures that directly relate well with the work of someone on an individual basis (individual work roles) and also the goals of the organization (Organization goal). Reply minimum standards of performance should be set for parameters such as the completion of the project, the level of sales, costs, or the level of quality. By not setting the parameters as above, is tantamount to saying to the employees / staff you that his responsibility was to come to work, do not endanger the safety of themselves or colleagues, and not steal.

The discovery of vast reserves of shale gas in north-west England have business owners in the UK who consume large amounts of gas hopeful that this will mean lower business gas prices. Sure, a huge field of natural gas is exciting, it is certain to bring many new jobs to north-west England but there is a huge price to pay for extracting shale gas.
The United States is having a great deal of trouble with protesters who are pointing to water wells damaged by hydraulic fracturing, known as “fracking” , the process by which the gas is unlocked from shale rock. The process of drilling a well for shale gas involves pumping in millions of gallons of water, sand and chemicals under high pressure at the shale rock to break it apart and allow the gas to be captured.. Several states have already banned fracking, alarmed by residents of other states who are literally able to ignite the water coming out of their kitchen spigots because it is contaminated with chemicals.
The UK needs natural gas. The North Sea reserves are dwindling and if business gas prices could be lowered and more jobs created, it would be a good thing. Perhaps one day we will have new gas tariffs, like green electricity tariffs where domestic and non-domestic customers could choose non-fracked gas for a premium price.
